So I've downloaded about 50 viruses in my everlasting quest to get a working copy of PS on my computer (with still no success) but at least I know my virus protection software is working!!

In other news, I filled my schedule with (gasp) TWO art classes this semester! This means little to you, as I never post classwork here because it won't fit in my scanner and I abhor having to take photos of sub-par paintings anyways... but MAYBE I'll get over it and post something besides meaningless sketches in the future.

Always me with the false hope.. anyways, my last journal was dated and I wanted it gone and so now that THAT mission is accomplished, I bid you farewell! Oh yes, and another mass thank-you to my growing number of fav-ers and watchers!! I have no idea why there are ever-more of you when I hardly upload anything anymore, such patience is beyond me, but I suppose that just deserves and even BIGGER thank you.

I'm not exactly active anyways, so this shouldn't actually affect anything. SOCIAL FAIL!

I'm going to steal Photoshop from a friend this summer, so when I come back at the end of August maybe I'll start uploading crap again. 8D I took a mini-course on the program this month and I feel like I can actually accomplish something with it now! It's been killing me not to be able to DO something with these new-found powers... expect a warm-up dump when I return.

SO. Last semester nearly killed me (just like all the ones that came before it actually. I'm noticing a pattern.) I say nearly- only because obviously I survived. Kind of. I still think I lost a good part of my capacity for rational thought somewhere back in the Modification of Mendelian Ratios chapter of genetics...

ANYWAYS. My luck with computers prevails. The CD/DVD rom drive in my beast died not long after I got it. So I can't install my tablet or PS (which I suppose doesn't really matter because I still don't even have a copy of it yet.) I didn't have the time before, but now I get to rip the thing out, send it to the manufacturer, and wait 8 months for them to send me a new one. OH JOY.

I have the inspiration for arts- just not the means. :[ Maybe I'll do another sketch dump. It's just a pain in the ass because all I have to set one up is MS paint. And you can't spell "paint" without "pain."

OH YEAH. If I owe you something (i.e. a trade I never completed) MESSAGE ME!! The very LEAST I can do is pencil it up for you and promise to add color as soon as I can.

SO. I finally got a new computer to replace my pos laptop that up and died on me over winter break. There were a few hitches getting it all hooked up to the internets (of course- nothing can ever go smoothly with me) but now... DAAAYUM. This thing is a friggin' BEAST!! If only I was able to save my beloved Photoshop- sadly, it died with my laptop- along with over $800 of other pirated software. Damn. At least all my photos and music were safely stored on the external HD I got for Christmas (perfect timing, I tell you.) Wish I could say the same for all my WIPs.

Ah well. Like I have enough time to draw anyways with this schedule. Le sigh... At least I can get my WoW fix now. 8D

And uh, 12k pageviews. Hot damn! I've noticed a lot of new watchers and a TON of faves in my inbox too- sorry I can't reply to them all (there's so many all the sudden!) but I really do appreciate them!! I feel loved.

My stupid laptop died. The on-board graphics card bit the dust, making the entire motherboard useless in the process. Its last parting gift was to severely screw up my screen as well.... The thing is less than two years old, and has been treated like a baby. It just crapped out on Monday and will not recover unless I buy a new motherboard, which costs about as much as a whole new machine. And I'm flat broke.

SO- I won't be around for a while. _{Which sucks because when I get back to my house down south, I was actually going to upload some stuff I hadn't had time to last semester. :[}

My curse prevails yet again. Fml.
