Summer Vacation?

So I quit my job and am running away from- er- to home?

I'm not exactly active anyways, so this shouldn't actually affect anything. I really just wanted to write a mass THANK YOU (again, it's becoming a pattern, I see) to EVERYONE who has been commenting, faving, and leaving me looooove. :heart: I read all the comments and messages, I just don't respond because I'm lazy busy. Yeah... busy. >_> At one point, I dumped my whole message box 'cause it was so full. So I'm not ignoring you- I just lost your comment somewhere in cyberspace. <_<

I'm going to steal Photoshop from a friend this summer, so when I come back at the end of August maybe I'll start uploading crap again. 8D I took a mini-course on the program this month and I feel like I can actually accomplish something with it now! It's been killing me not to be able to DO something with these new-found powers... expect a warm-up dump when I return. :D

I hope your summers are all going well! (Despite the recent rash of celebrity deaths- June is just not a happy month.) If you haven't seen Transformers 2 yet- go see it NOW! It'll CHANGE. YOUR. LIFE. :omg: ... What're you waiting for? GO!!

Oh, you know. It's hot enough to melt your flip-flops to the sidewalk if you stand still too long; and to compensate, the AC in every building in the state is set to 40 degrees. Normal AZ stuff. :XD:
Aside from those climatic extremes, summer's going ok. The break from class is MUCH needed. :D How're you doin??

I'm doing okay. A bit bored right now that I've been out of school for the last couple of months and haven't been doing much of anything after the time I was at that oil tanker.

I came home from the tanker about a month ago (I was there for 6 weeks, working 7 days a week, 8 hours a day). I got my certificates of competency (watchkeep rating, and in the handling of oil, chemicals and gas) just yesterday, and now I'm just waiting to hear from the shipping company whether or not I can get a job for the summer from there :)

Other than that I haven't been doing much of anything. It's getting so boring here, heh. I clean at my mom's work, but that's all. And then I sit at home and go out a bit with friends. :D I really hope that the company can get me a place on some ship (I'm hoping for the one I was earlier, it's name is Tempera), because I wanna go and get some more experience on working as a part of the crew, and then I wouldn't be so bored, hehe! :XD:

I still think that sounds so awesome. Chemicals? Oil? Tanker ships? Definitely. :XD: I really hope you got the job, it sounds like you really enjoy it!! :aww:

DID you get the job? How's your summer going then? Sorry it took so long to respond.. I suck at life sometimes lol. :sniff:

I do enjoy it! Very much so. But no, I didn't get the job. Not yet at least. I'm still hoping they're going to call me some time before school starts :D

My summer's going very well, thanks! I'm very excited about this month. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is coming out soon, and the Twins (James & Oliver Phelps, the Weasley twins) are going visit Finland then! And I'm moving, too! I'm moving a bit closer (okay, a lot closer) to my school, which is very, very nice! Now I don't have to wake up 2 hours before classes, hehe. 30 minutes will do :XD:

How about you? Having a warm summer there? It's so hot here, I'm melting, I swear! lol :D
